Una visi�n clara de la situaci�n actual en Israel y los desaf�os que enfrenta

Es un libro que que entrega una visi�n bastante amplia de los problemas que enfrenta Israel en la actualidad, y sugiere que la forma de enfrentarlos deber� considerar a toda la diversa poblaci�n que habita en el pa�s. El hecho de verse en permanente peligro, hace que el israel� sea una persona vibrante, energ�tica y que siempre est� buscando nuevas y mejores maneras de hacer las cosas.
Para apoyar estas conclusiones, el autor relata de forma relativamente cronol�gica la aparici�n el movimiento sionista, la fundaci�n del Estado de Israel y su desarrollo posterior, bas�ndose en estudios realizados por �l, como asimismo, en entrevistas a muchos protagonistas de los eventos.
Muy recomendable para entender los problemas actuales en el Medio Oriente.

Recomendable para todos los interesados en la Historia del Nuevo Israel

En general es muy buen libro que describe la creacion y el desarrollo del Estado de Israel.
La primera parte en la cual Ari Shavit relata la historia familiar, a pesar de darnos una idea historica de la Palestina de esos tiempos, me resulto demasiado larga y hasta aburrida, pero despues de pasar la 1/4 parte inicial del libro, el resto es muy descriptivo e interesante.
Recomiendo este libro a todos mis conocidos, y es leible para todos.
Hoy fui acomprarlo para mi hijo y me sorprendio que no esta traducido al Hebreo!!!!

Una bella prosa cargada de pasajes hist�ricos que permiten comprender la inigualable batalla del pueblo jud�o durante siglos. Un destino que le obliga a sostener la espada sin tregua y a enfrentar un futuro incierto cargado de peligros. Una de las mejores obras de la actualidad. Inspirador y a la vez deprimente.
