Waay to basic - Not enoughout about dropshipping

I was hoping to learn more about finding suppliers for dropshipping and dropshipping in general. The author barley goes in to it. There is basic basic stuff about SEO and Internet in general. He's explaining what a forum is in this book at one point. I read it in about 3 hours and pulled maybe 2-3 good nuggets. That's why it gets 2 stars. Don't expect a detailed guide to dropshipping though. This is a very gerneral and casual read with a lot of fluff.

Must read for beginners selling online

Great book for those who are just beginning to sell products online. It is over 180 pages long, full of great information and resources. It covers everything from finding dropshippers, listing them online, to marketing. I would recommend this book to all those just beginning to sell products online.

Light on Dropshipping

This book is actually a good e-commerce primer. It covers many important topics like creating a good site, selling on both eBay and your own site, SEO, PPC, etc. However, it's light on some key dropshipping particulars. It needs to elaborate on how to select and apply to vendors and the obstacles they place in your path. Sometimes it's difficult for a new company to get the attention of vendors, so more advice here would be appreciated. Also, the book completely glosses over a really important issue for dropshippers: returns. Who should handle them? What's customary? As a dropshipper where can I negotiate and where am I stuck? After reading this book I have no additional insight on how to handle returns than I did before.
A final topic that merits more attention is how not to get dis-intermediated as a dropshipper. What if my suppliers have their own e-commerce effort? How can I tell if my customers are going around me? It would be valuable to know what situations to avoid initially and what early warning signs might appear if industry dynamics change.
Bottom line: some good e-commerce advice, but an incomplete guide to dropshipping.
